Cloud study

The cold weather, short days and christmas preparations stopped me from doing any plein air painting this month but I managed to have some fun in the studio. I found a photograph of a beautiful sky taken years ago while on holiday in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. I decided to have a go at it and here is the result:
